Description

No-Bake Mini Egg Delight is a charming and simple dessert that combines rich, creamy textures with colorful mini eggs for a fun, no-oven-required treat. Perfect for quick cravings, family-friendly occasions, and versatile serving options, this easy-to-make indulgence offers a luscious blend of buttery biscuits, sweet condensed milk, and playful chocolate bursts.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 150g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 75g butter, melted
  • 200g condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g mini eggs (plus extra for topping)
  • Optional: 1-2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the biscuit base: Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs using a rolling pin in a ziplock bag or a food processor to create a crumbly foundation.
  2. Melt the butter: Gently melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on low heat on the stove, ensuring it melts evenly.
  3. Combine crumbs and butter: Pour the melted butter over the crushed biscuits and mix thoroughly until the mixture holds together when pressed.
  4. Add condensed milk and vanilla: Stir in the condensed milk and vanilla extract until a smooth, sticky batter forms. If using cocoa powder, mix it in at this stage.
  5. Fold in mini eggs: Gently fold in the mini eggs, reserving a handful to sprinkle on top for extra color and crunch.
  6. Press into a pan and chill: Transfer the mixture into a lined dish, pressing down firmly to even out the surface, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Slice and enjoy: Once chilled and firm, remove from the pan and cut into small squares or bars. Serve immediately or store for later.

Notes

  • Use room temperature butter for even melting and better binding.
  • Do not skip chilling time; allow at least 2 hours to firm up.
  • Fold mini eggs gently to keep their shells intact.
  • Line the pan with parchment paper or foil to ease removal and slicing.
  • Adjust sweetness by varying condensed milk quantity or adding a pinch of salt.
